Suzy (real name Bae Su-ji, photo), who has shown steady activities as a singer and actor, will bid farewell to JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) who has been with him for nine years. 

With the end of March 31, JYP said on Wednesday that its exclusive contract with artist Suzy has expired. He added that the two sides have had time for in-depth discussions over the past few months, and that they decided not to proceed with the re-signing under an agreement.

Suzy, who debuted in 2010 with the group Miss A, did her best at JYP, looking more passionate than anyone else. In 2017, the company has continued its unusual relationship by signing a one-time contract with JYP based on mutual trust.

The official connection is over, but JYP said it will sincerely support Suzy's path in the future.
